She has been a wonderful violin teacher to both my daughters. Very patient, caring and helps reinforce the lessons and skills being taught at school by their orchestra teacher. She is also super flexible and accommodating with scheduling in person and online lessons. She is a treasure and we are so lucky to have her in the Bangor area. Highly recommend her.

I am a senior in high school who has taken violin lessons from Mrs. G for 8 years. Unfortunately, 5 stars doesn't do her justice. The ease with which Mrs. G explains and applies ideas to music and simultaneously, to life, is unparalleled. She is downright enthusiastic about ensuring that all of the questions that I have are addressed, and is always able to provide new insights. It is with her guidance (and partially BECAUSE of her) that I will be pursuing a career in music. Thank you Mrs. G for being an awesome teacher!

Laura is always on time, cheerful, and positive. She is a master at identifying what's not working and finding creative ways to fix problems that enhance our son's ability to play violin. Laura is flexible when it comes to scheduling, enthusiastic about our son's progress, and so patient with his endless questions during the lessons. It is due to Laura's unique combination of skills that our son is still with the violin and always motivated to advance. I cannot recommend Laura enough. In fact, she inspires me to want to pick up an instrument and play!

My daughter has taken lessons for 9 years and it has been a musical and life lesson gift every year. We couldn't recommend Laura any more for her musical talent, teaching genius, and overall wise and delightful person to have in our child's life.

Mrs. G is an amazing teacher! My daughter started with her as a 7 years old, and now as a 14 year old freshman in high school she continues to love working with Mrs. G. She is knowledgeable, supportive and truly cares about her students. We recommend her to anyone who is looking for an amazing strings teacher (and piano too!)
