As a tutor, my approach is all about making writing feel less like a chore and more like a creative adventure! I believe every student, no matter their level, can improve their writing with the right guidance—and yes, a little bit of fun along the way. I keep things relaxed and approachable, with a big focus on helping kids get confident with their writing skills. From essay writing and test prep to creative writing and poetry, I’ve got your back.
A typical lesson starts with a quick chat to figure out what the student is working on or what’s got them stuck. Then, we dive in! Whether we’re brainstorming ideas for an essay, exploring the magic of poetry, or just practicing some basic writing skills, I’ll walk them through it step-by-step. I make sure to keep things light and playful, using cool prompts and real-world examples to get their imaginations flowing. And yes, grammar will be a part of it, but I promise I’ll make it less painful than a visit to the dentist!
What sets me apart is how I tailor each lesson to fit the student’s needs, making sure they feel understood and supported. I don’t just focus on getting through the lesson—I want them to actually enjoy the process and feel proud of what they create. Plus, I’m all about keeping it positive and encouraging!
