About Meredith
Welcome to Root to Leaf Holistic Healing. My name is Meredith and I am a certified yoga instructor and a Reiki Master/Teacher with almost two decades of experience mentoring individuals to be the best version of themselves. I thrive off of helping others achieve their goals, and enjoy sharing my experiences and knowledge when it helps.
I have had a passion for holistic healing, especially as it pertains to energy and sound, since a young age. My aunt, a holistic psychiatrist in the early nineties, introduced me to this school of thought. She showed me articles in scientific journals at the university library where I worked. The articles touched on energy, but had studies proving the power of positive thinking. This permeated my mind and inspired me to learn more.
After achieving my B.S. in Forest Biology at the University of Vermont, I spent many years traveling the United States, eventually settling down in Arizona to raise my son. During this time I started to revisit different holistic therapies to help my family navigate our physical and mental ailments using as few pharmaceutical drugs as possible. I quickly learned that through proper diet, exercise, and positive living our symptoms would dissipate and often go away. Seeing this made me realize that in order for me to be the best version of myself, I must be 100% invested in my physical, spiritual and mental health.
This epiphany has led me to spending the last six years educating myself in various modalities of holistic healing. I became a certified yoga instructor in 2015, and in 2018 I left my corporate job to fulfill my dream. I founded Root to Leaf Holistic Healing as a way to share my love of yoga, sound, and energy healing with individuals seeking guidance on their self healing journey.
I reside in Prescott but stay in Phoenix often with family. I offer sessions in and around Arizona.
I love every aspect of what I do! I left the corporate world to immerse myself in what I love, and in doing so I have not worked a day since.
I have a 200 hr RYT certification with Yoga Alliance. I have numerous hours of continuing education in yoga including sound therapy, power yoga, yin yoga, and hatha yoga.

I cater my process to each individual. Sometimes we speak at length first on the phone to find out what the person is hoping to achieve in the lesson, other times we text and play it by ear. I always ask if there are any injuries to be aware.
With life coaching we begin with a free 20 minute consultation to determine if what I can offer is what the client needs.
My students for yoga have ranged from men that have never taken a yoga class to experienced yogis looking for guidance.
