About Dan
I am experienced in teaching and tutoring, I have spent my senior secondary school years by mentoring younger students in maths and english subjects and was a volunteer teacher to a local primary school in years 11/12/13 I also spent many years as a Cadet Non-Commissioned Officer in the Air Training Corps meaning I was responsible for many aspects of teaching, training, welfare and development. As well as 12 GCSEs (10 at A* equivalent and 1 A), an International Baccalaureate diploma with grade of 40 points (Equivalent of 4 A’s) I also hold BTECs in Aviation and Personal Development as well as qualifications in first aid, leadership, cyber security, radio communication and public speaking and teaching/instructing.

I base my teaching methods in aiding and furthering students understanding of topics through exam technique (This is crucial in the 11+) so they feel ready to face assessments. I find it’s really important to help students find their confidence through helping them to extend their ideas and enhance their creativity with answering questions.
