I am a biochemistry and human biology graduate with experience as a university teaching assistant and private tutor. I practiced Tae Kwon Do for over 14 years, which instilled in me strong discipline, patience, and a commitment to continuous improvement—qualities that directly influence how I approach teaching and mentorship. I value professionalism, reliability, and clear communication, and I aim to create a supportive and respectful learning environment. I am approachable, organized, and attentive to individual learning needs, and I take pride in helping students build both academic confidence and long-term learning skills.

My approach as a tutor is structured, student-centered, and focused on building strong conceptual understanding. I begin each lesson by assessing where the student is at, identifying knowledge gaps, and clarifying their academic goals. A typical lesson includes reviewing key concepts, working through examples together, and practicing problems step-by-step, with an emphasis on understanding the “why” behind each concept rather than memorization. What sets me apart as a tutor is my experience as a university teaching assistant and my background as a biochemistry and human biology graduate, which allows me to explain complex scientific and mathematical ideas clearly and effectively. My lessons are best suited for middle school, high school, and university students studying biology, chemistry, physics, math, or related science courses, as well as students seeking exam preparation or improved study skills.
