About Morgan
Hi y’all!
My name is Morgan, and I am a violinist and chamber musician coming up on 15 years of experience. I am a recent graduate from a performing and visual arts high school where I earned my Distinguished Level of Instrumental Performance Certificate. I have received multiple musical accolades through my placement in the top 15% of all Texas high school violinists in TMEA All-State and All-Region. I have also attended festivals such as the American Festival for the Arts and the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, as well as 5+ years in the Houston Youth Symphony.

I am familiar and proficient in the Suzuki Method and comfortable teaching beginner to intermediate level music theory.

**Virtual Lesson Disclaimer**
I believe that classical music should be accessible and digestible for all and wish to create a welcoming space for newcomers in classical music.
That being said, violin is an extremely physical activity. I do not think that proper posture and technique can be taught through a screen, therefore will only be accepting students online if they have already completed basic training such as learning how to hold a violin and bow. This is to ensure that I can provide the safest procedure to learning and prevent performance related injuries as best as we can.
