About Mathew
With 8 years of experience teaching singing to school and college students, as well as working professionals, I’ve guided many learners on their journey to discover and strengthen their voice. I’ve worked with students of all levels—from shy beginners to confident performers—and helped them reach their personal singing goals. My teaching philosophy is simple: singing is for everyone. Whether you want to sing for fun, prepare for an audition, or improve your technique, I will support you with patience and care. I focus on helping students build confidence, control, and vocal health, while also encouraging expression and creativity. In our lessons, we explore breathing techniques, pitch, tone, and performance skills. I also help students connect emotionally to the songs they choose, so their performances feel real and powerful. One of my proudest moments was helping a student who once feared singing in public perform a solo in front of their entire school. That kind of growth is what inspires me as a tutor every day.

Every singer has a story behind their voice, and my methodology is about turning that inspiration into skilled, expressive performance. We use real-life case studies—like famous covers, transformative auditions, and iconic vocal moments—to examine how singers connect with their music and their audience.

For an advanced singer, it might involve mastering dynamics, stylization, and stamina for longer pieces. I adjust to your pace and evolve with your needs.
