About Lana
My teaching methodology is based on clear Communication, Empathy, and Positivity to create a supportive and engaging learning environment. I focus on understanding each student’s unique needs and challenges, ensuring that complex Economics concepts are explained in simple and easy-to-understand ways. I use real-life examples, case studies, and practical applications to make the subject relevant and relatable. Besides Economics, I can also teach related subjects such as Business Studies, Social Sciences, and introductory Finance. My goal is to help students build a strong conceptual foundation, improve their academic performance, excel in tests and assignments, and develop confidence and a positive attitude towards learning.

I am a dedicated Economics tutor with 10 years of experience teaching high school and college students. Over the years, I have guided around 300 students, helping them understand both Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. My passion for education drives me to make every lesson engaging, clear, and tailored to each student’s learning style, ensuring they build a strong foundation in Economics. Throughout my career, I have achieved several milestones that make me proud. Many of my students have significantly improved their exam scores, completed challenging assignments with confidence, and developed a deeper understanding of complex economic concepts. Watching students grow academically and gain confidence has been the most rewarding part of my journey as a tutor. My teaching approach emphasises patience, empathy, and real-life application of concepts. I encourage questions, discussions, and active participation so students feel motivated and supported. By connecting theory to practical examples, I make Economics relatable and enjoyable, helping students excel academically while building lasting confidence and a love for learning.
