I'm Sue Schreiber, a professional artist and educator based in Cairns, Far North Queensland. For the past 40 years, I've been passionate about teaching art and helping others discover their creative potential. My journey as both an artist and teacher has shaped my belief that creativity is for everyone—regardless of experience or background. My Artistic Journey I hold a BA in Fine Arts and an Advanced Certificate in Illustration, with additional certification in Graphic Design. My professional practice spans drawing, painting, digital art, surface pattern design, and photography. Over the past 12 years, I've specialized in surface pattern design, developing expertise in both traditional and digital techniques. My work has been exhibited widely and is represented in galleries throughout Far North Queensland. What Drives My Teaching I'm inspired by the breathtaking natural beauty of Cairns—its vibrant rainforests, stunning coastlines, and intricate patterns in nature. These surroundings inform my artistic work and teaching approach.
