About Shakib
I am a Medicine Entry Specialist; I help students achieve top grades in their A-levels as well as producing successful applicants for Medicine and Dentistry (every step of the way from Personal Statements to Interviews!) I am an easy-going and approachable tutor with a strong scientific and academic background. I bring creativity and adaptability to my teaching, tailoring explanations and examples to each student’s way of thinking. I am deeply passionate about education, believing that every student can thrive with the right guidance and support. I take particular pride in my students, many of whom have gone on to achieve outstanding results and are now pursuing careers or studies in prestigious fields such as Medicine, Engineering, Computer Science among others.

With seven years of tutoring experience, including private tuition and formal teaching at Sixth Form College. I personalise every component of my lessons to meet the individual needs of each student. I focus on the areas where support is most required, using concepts and examples tailored to the student’s own experiences to enhance understanding and engagement. Lessons emphasise compartmentalising information, making it easier to learn and retain large volumes of material. Homework is set and monitored via Google Classroom, allowing both students and parents to track progress effectively.
