About David
I am a passionate and dedicated educator who genuinely enjoys helping students discover that learning can be exciting, practical, and enjoyable. I am a graduate of Physics Education with over 6 years of teaching experience across different schools. Beyond my qualifications, I am patient, friendly, humorous, approachable, and committed to understanding each student as an individual.
I believe every student can learn and excel when taught with the right approach, encouragement, and consistency. I love breaking difficult concepts into simple explanations, using relatable examples, asking questions that encourage critical thinking, and creating a comfortable environment where students feel free to make mistakes, ask questions, and learn confidently.
I teach because I enjoy seeing that moment when a student finally understands something that once seemed difficult. My goal is to help my students improve academically while also developing confidence, curiosity, problem-solving skills, discipline, and a genuine love for learning. With me, lessons are not just about getting the right answers—they are about understanding, growing, and enjoying the journey.

My lessons are designed to make Mathematics and Science simple, engaging, and easy to understand for learners aged 6–14 (Levels 1–8). With a degree in Physics Education and over 6 years of teaching experience across 3 schools, including 6 months of teaching practice, I use a student-centred approach tailored to each learner’s ability and learning pace.
Each 1-hour lesson combines clear explanations, practical examples, interactive questioning, guided practice, problem-solving activities, and short assessments to reinforce understanding. I identify areas where the student needs improvement, build concepts step-by-step from the basics, and gradually introduce more challenging topics as confidence develops.
My goal is not just to help students memorize formulas or answers, but to help them genuinely understand concepts, think critically, solve problems independently, and develop confidence in Mathematics and Science. Lessons can also be adapted to support schoolwork, homework, revision, examinations, and individual learning goals.
