About Jilna
As a Maths graduate from the University of Warwick, I bring both academic excellence and a genuine passion for numbers, patterns, and problem-solving into every lesson.
I understand that for many parents, maths can be a source of stress — whether it’s gaps in understanding, lack of confidence, or exam pressure. My approach is centred on removing that stress by giving each student clarity, structure, and a clear path forward.
Every child learns differently, so I tailor my teaching to suit their individual way of thinking. This allows me to break down complex topics into simple, manageable steps, helping students not only improve their grades but truly understand what they’re learning.
Alongside building strong foundations, I place a strong emphasis on exam technique and time efficiency — equipping students with proven strategies, shortcuts, and tools to maximise marks and perform confidently under pressure.
My goal is not just short-term improvement, but long-term confidence and independence in maths — giving parents peace of mind that their child is supported, progressing, and reaching their full potential.
