My teaching approach for Excel is centred on creating a clear, engaging, and practical learning experience. I focus on understanding each student’s current skills and goals, then design lessons tailored to their needs. I cover a wide range of Excel topics including data analysis, formulae, functions like VLOOKUP and IF, pivot tables, charts, macros, and conditional formatting. In addition, I integrate related subjects such as basic statistics, data visualisation, and spreadsheet best practices to give students a broader understanding of working with data.
I emphasise clear communication in every lesson, ensuring students fully understand each concept before moving forward. I encourage questions, discussions, and hands-on practice to make learning interactive and effective.
I respect each student’s unique learning style and pace, adapting lessons to make them comfortable and confident. By combining practical examples, real-life projects, and personalised support, I aim to help students not only master Excel but also develop skills that are useful in academics, work, and daily life.

I am an experienced Microsoft Excel tutor with 8 years of teaching high school and college students. Over this time, I have successfully guided around 250 students, helping them gain confidence in Excel and its many practical applications. My goal is to make learning Excel simple, engaging, and meaningful for every student.
My teaching philosophy focuses on clear explanations and hands-on practice. I break down complex concepts like formulae, pivot tables, charts, and data analysis into easy-to-understand steps. I encourage students to actively participate, ask questions, and apply what they learn through real-life examples and assignments.
