About Archu
With more than 9 years of teaching experience, I have helped many students build strong musical foundations in flute. I teach learners from school, college, and professional backgrounds at beginner to advanced levels.
My teaching approach focuses on clear communication and step-by-step improvement. I emphasise breathing techniques, tone production, finger coordination, and rhythm accuracy. I also teach music theory, scale formation, notation reading, ear training, and improvisation basics to strengthen overall understanding.
I regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. My strength lies in correcting technical errors patiently and encouraging consistent practice. I create a positive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and explore music creatively.

My flute teaching methodology is guided by Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity to create a structured yet supportive learning environment. I begin by assessing each student’s current level and understanding how they learn best, then design lessons that match their pace and goals.
I focus on building a strong technical base through breath control exercises, embouchure refinement, posture correction, tone stabilisation, articulation drills, and finger coordination practice.
Long-tone studies and scale routines form a regular part of training to ensure consistency and control. As students progress, I gradually introduce expressive phrasing, dynamics, and musical interpretation. Flexibility allows me to adjust repertoire and lesson intensity according to exam preparation, stage performance, or personal interest.
Collaboration encourages students to take responsibility for their improvement through goal setting and reflection. Positivity ensures a motivating atmosphere where students feel confident to grow. Alongside flute, I also teach music theory, rhythm training, ear development, sight-reading, and performance preparation skills.
