About Lyra
I am a dedicated SAT prep tutor with 4 years of experience and a proven track record of helping high school and college students succeed. Having taught over 300 students, I focus on clear communication, adapting lessons to each student's learning style, and using real-life examples to make concepts more relatable. I incorporate real-life examples and case studies to make complex concepts more relatable and easier to understand. This helps students connect what they are learning to the real world, making the preparation process more engaging and practical. In addition to SAT prep, I also offer tutoring in subjects such as ACT prep, GED prep, English, Math, and Writing, using the same adaptable and student-focused methods.
My goal is to build confidence, improve test-taking strategies, and make learning enjoyable. With a strong focus on communication and adapting to each student's needs, I aim to ensure success both on exams and beyond.
