I focus on a hands-on, project-based approach to teaching. I believe that the best way to learn programming is by doing, so I encourage students to engage in coding exercises, real-world projects, and problem-solving activities during each session. I also use pair programming techniques, where students and I collaborate on coding tasks, which helps to solidify their understanding of the concepts.
For Java and Spring Boot, I emphasize the importance of understanding core principles before moving on to advanced topics. I use interactive examples, live coding sessions, and code walkthroughs to ensure that students grasp the fundamental concepts. I also incorporate quizzes and small assignments to reinforce learning and assess progress.
Usual Structure of a Class:
Introduction (10-15 minutes):-
Recap of previous lessons and addressing any questions.
Brief overview of the day's topic and objectives.
Core Lesson (30-40 minutes):-
Explanation of key concepts with examples.
Live coding sessions to demonstrate how to implement these concepts in Java and Spring Boot.
Interactive Q&A sessions to clear any doubts.
