About Dia
I am a Biology tutor with over 4 years of experience and a BSc in Molecular Biology. My passion lies in ethology and animal behaviour studies, which I use to explain concepts in evolutionary psychology and behavioural ecology. I enjoy exploring innate behaviours, learning processes, social structures, and communication in animals with my students. My teaching focuses on helping students understand how animals adapt to their environments. I emphasise analysing survival strategies and behavioural patterns in the wild. Through case studies and real-life examples, I make complex ideas clear and engaging. I bring a hands-on approach to lessons, encouraging curiosity and observation. My goal is to connect biology theory with fascinating examples from nature. I help students develop analytical skills to interpret animal behaviour scientifically. My teaching approach focuses on building a strong and clear understanding of biology, especially in neuroscience, brain structure and function, sensory systems, and neurological disorders. I use deep analytical review and structured case studies to make complex topics easier to understand. Lessons are designed to connect theory with practical examples, helping students see real-world applications. I guide students through detailed exploration of brain anatomy, neuron function, sensory pathways, and neurological conditions. I include relevant topics such as neurophysiology, cognitive processes, and clinical case studies. This structured approach makes learning both engaging and effective. I work closely with Pre-Med students and Olympiad participants, motivating them to reach academic excellence. My sessions include regular reviews, interactive discussions, and problem-solving exercises to strengthen comprehension. I focus on developing critical thinking and analytical skills. Together, we refine understanding of the nervous system and prepare for exams and competitions with confidence. My goal is not just to teach but to inspire deep curiosity and lasting mastery in biology.
