About Joy
I am a dedicated guitar tutor with 11 years of experience, teaching students of all ages—from high school and college learners to elderly students. I have taught around 150–200 students, helping them grow in skill, confidence, and love for music. My teaching style is patient, flexible, and personalised, blending structured guidance with encouragement and motivational support.
I celebrate every milestone, from learning a first chord to performing in front of an audience. Some of my proudest moments have been witnessing students overcome challenges and perform confidently, realising their own potential. My goal is to inspire students to enjoy the learning process, develop their skills, and embrace music as a lifelong journey.

My guitar teaching philosophy is based on honesty, practical learning, and flexibility. I use real songs and everyday playing examples to explain guitar skills clearly. Learning is designed to be simple, enjoyable, and effective.
I use case studies to show how guitarists solve common challenges. Problem-solving builds confidence and independence in students. Motivation helps them stay consistent and engaged.
Integrity guides my teaching, ensuring clear and honest feedback. My flexible approach allows lessons to be customised for different goals and learning speeds. Along with Guitar, I also teach basic music theory, rhythm training, and beginner performance skills.
