About Jason
I really love English. I’ve always found it fascinating and I enjoy reading, mostly old classics, I really enjoy Dostoevsky; his favourite work of mine is his short story ‘The Dream of a Ridiculous Man’, and Nabokov. I also love Orwell and Camus, The Stranger and Burmese Days are two of my favourite books. I am dedicated to teaching and I intend on being an educational psychologist in the future, so doing this is something I’d enjoy and would treat as good experience. I would love to help you in learning English, I love the subject but I know how frustrating a lot of it can be sometimes, and I believe I’m very effective at teaching it.

I have a massive passion for the subject as I love reading, books, and poetry. I am dedicated to teaching you the subject and getting the best result possible. I’m very good at presenting the information in a way in which it’s easy to digest, properly understand, and memorise. Teaching at a high school level, wherein I understand the courses and have a very recent experience in dealing with them. Lessons typically around an hour, though this is flexible.

Perfect! He is dedicated, highly empathetic and always on time
Perfect! Jason helped my son to understand the subject in a short time
- So far I’d say I have a lot of hope for Raghuram and I think he’ll do really well when the time comes.Jason's response :
His main strengths are in his analysis and evaluation of the set text, which he performed really well in his prelim, and which we will spend a session on so I can see myself.
His main weaknesses lie in the RUAE section of the course, which the majority of people struggle with. Raghuram’s analysis is very good, he just needs to take his time with the questions and ensure he’s answering them appropriately, which is honestly a very easy fix once you get into the habit of it!
I’d also like to spend some time on the critical essay in our next sessions as well as with some past papers on RUAE!
