About Edward (Kefan)
Are you feeling lost with code? I understand.
My journey began after I watched the movie The Imitation Game in which the mathematician Alan Turing was a key contributor to victory in WWII by developing a machine that decrypted the German Enigma code. It made me want to enter the amazing world of computer science. But the reality was very hard. For me, the COMP2017 virtual machine assignment at USYD was a real monster. I often wanted to escape and just play video games and doomscroll on social media.
Then, when I was stuck, I met a mentor. He was a programming genius and taught me a secret: you can beat any big problem by taking small steps, one by one.
This idea changed everything. I started to do very well and earned a WAM of 87.5 and a place on the honour roll. The best treasure I got from this was a strong intuition and a sharp mind for solving problems.
Now, my mission is to help you find this skill too. I want to be the guide for you that I wished I had. Together, we can turn your confusion into confidence.

I've known him since our time at Sydney Uni, and his passion for coding is genuinely infectious.
