Sitij is a very funny, patient and guidance teacher. She started with the basic to ensure the foundation is right, during the progress although as a new student I might not perform well the basic foundation, but she guided me to enjoy the music first before to rigid / stubborn at the basic foundation. She is good in breakdown to mini steps to assist me to learn and perform the music. I really had a great first session and I will pursue in learning drum! It brought me new pleasant experiences!

SJ is incredibly patient. Even though she knows I have prior music knowledge, she still goes through the basic fundamentals with me. This also includes my posture and holding of the sticks, to ensure they are held correctly and not strenuous to my wrist and arms. She also accompanied me while playing rather than letting me play on my own, to help me be in the groove and momentum. Her fun, witty personality also made the class super enjoyable, and it made me more determined to get the beat right. I am confident that she will be able to ignite the music in me and make me fall in love with music all over again.

SJ is a really patient teacher and explains things clearly. If I don't get something, she explains it in a different way or shows it to me until I understand. I really appreciate that she caters to my learning style. She is also very encouraging and motivating. I especially love her sense of humor because it totally makes the lessons so much more enjoyable! Every lesson is super fun!!
