About Emerson
Hello! My name is Emerson and I’m a high school student located in Cairns.
I am interested in tutoring and helping students build confidence in speaking English.
My lessons are fun, interactive and engaging, featuring simple conversations and guided speaking to help students naturally improve their speaking skills.
I work patiently with students to help them feel confident expressing themselves in English while developing clear communication skills.
Whether your child is just starting or looking to improve their English, I aim to make each lesson fun and beneficial while improving their everyday communication!

Traveling to different countries, being a part of a diverse community and studying languages has become an increasingly valuable role in my life and it continues to inspire me to teach others.
For a lot of families, time is money.
That’s exactly why I aim for impact, quality sessions and avoid overanalysis of basic content.
The method that I find the most effective for learning languages (and the one I personally like the most) is the MPP (model, practice, play) method.
I start by demonstrating the conversation to the student for them to practice through guided speaking.
Then, the student uses the vocabulary in a role-play conversation, building on their conversational skills and speaking confidence with each sentence.
With a service fee of only $20 per hour, each lesson is filled with hands-on and interactive learning activities that make learning English fun and easy for kids aged 5-12 of any nationality!
