About Sidharth
I have been playing chess for the past 7 years now and got my FIDE rating in the year 2019. I have participated in a number of rated tournaments and won the top prizes in some of the tournaments held in Bangalore. I continue to improve my game under the guidance of a chess Grandmaster.
Being an ardent student of the game, I felt it would be good to share my passion with others. In a world where people remain addicted to smartphones and have become impatient, I feel chess can serve as a great source of fun and cognitive stimulation—especially when chess is practised as a social event.
I have recently won the BRDCA rapid chess tournament held in Bangalore.

Playing chess from an early age helps children understand that their choices have consequences—both good and bad. Thinking your moves through and trying to play the best move that you can, is rewarding while playing too quickly and rushing your decisions can have negative repercussions.
The intense focus required is useful in everyday life when confronted with school assignments, daily tasks, and deadlines.
Chess helps show your creativity in the type of moves, plans, and tactics that you come up with on the board.

Sidharth has been taking classes for my 8yr old daughter for around 1 year. She liked his classes because they are interactive and engaging. He is one of the youngest teachers l have seen who knows how to talk with other children so that they form an interest within the game.
He is quite a young teacher.This helps him to connect with children around his age or younger than him.He makes his classes really fun and engaging giving regular puzzles and even some custom homework puzzles for his students.
