About Shreya
Hello, I'm Shreya, an internationally FIDE-rated chess player, accomplished tournament competitor, and experienced chess coach with over five years of coaching experience. Having competed successfully at state, national, and international levels, I bring both high-level playing expertise and a deep understanding of what it takes to improve as a chess player.
Over the years, I have trained students of all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners to competitive tournament players. Several of my students have become FIDE-rated players, while others have achieved notable success at state, national, and international competitions. These results reflect my commitment to structured training, personalized guidance, and continuous improvement.
My coaching philosophy focuses on developing strong fundamentals, strategic thinking, tactical awareness, and tournament confidence. Every student receives an individualized learning plan designed around their strengths, weaknesses, and goals.

Hello, I'm Shreya, a FIDE-rated chess player, state and national-level champion, and experienced chess coach with over 5 years of coaching experience. I have trained students of various skill levels, from complete beginners to competitive tournament players.
My teaching approach is highly personalized and focused on long-term improvement. Each lesson is tailored to the student's strengths, weaknesses, and goals. A typical session includes tactical exercises, strategic planning, opening preparation, endgame techniques, puzzle solving, and detailed game analysis. I emphasize understanding chess concepts deeply rather than relying on memorization.

Several of my students have become FIDE-rated players, while others have achieved success at state, national, and international-level tournaments.
