About Daniel
I have been a teacher for fifteen years and have loved absolutely every minute of it. It can be trying at times, but the reward is always worth the effort. My passion has always been to help and teach others. I want to see people succeed. I tell my students all the time, that I am there for them and that I did not become a teacher to see them fail. I have patience with students who need other ways of comprehending things. I have a great sense of humor and enjoy making learning fun and engaging.

I have taught physical science, earth science, and biology. I currently teach middle school science and social studies which covers a very wide variety of subject matter. My students show growth and perform well on their assessments. I like to focus on the standards for the particular subject and base my lessons off those as well as a student's academic ability. Typically, pre assessments are a great way to determine this. I like to make the material relevant and interesting for the students by relating it to things they may like to do. I'm a firm believer in positivity and success. There is no such thing as "I can't." I also like to keep lessons fun and entertaining. Each student has their own specific learning capabilities and attributes, so every lesson cannot be the same for every student. I like to adapted and change lessons to meet the student's individual needs and goals. I prefer to tutor high school or middle school students. I have also tutored some with middle school math and middle school English language arts that I am more than happy to help with as well.
