About Samiya
Hi, I’m Samiya – a passionate and supportive tutor with a background in healthcare and education. I have a degree in Operating Department Practice, and over the past 5+ years, I’ve helped students of all abilities gain confidence and achieve real progress in Science, Maths, and English. I understand that every student learns differently, which is why I take a personalised approach in all my sessions. Whether a student needs help catching up, filling gaps in their knowledge, or pushing towards top grades, I tailor my teaching to suit their pace and goals. I believe learning should be clear, calm, and encouraging – not overwhelming. My aim is always to build not just knowledge, but confidence that lasts beyond the classroom. Outside of tutoring, I’m passionate about healthcare and science, and I love seeing students discover how subjects connect to real life. Let’s make learning something to feel good about!

I hold a degree in Operating Department Practice, and I specialise in supporting students from KS2 to GCSE level, whether they’re studying Combined or Separate Sciences, or looking to strengthen their Maths and English skills. My sessions are tailored to each student’s needs – whether you’re catching up, filling in knowledge gaps, or aiming for top grades. I make learning approachable, structured, and engaging, helping students build real understanding and self-belief. I offer online or in-person sessions and am happy to chat about how I can help you or your child achieve their academic goals. Let’s work together to make progress that lasts!
