About Beck
My name is Beck, and I moved from Ireland to New Zealand, looking to explore this side of the world. My love for teaching comes from my love of learning - do what you love, and you'll never work a day in your life, right?
I'm a big film buff, and will find any way to use some of my favorite movies as examples in class. I get very passionate about a lot of things, so feel free to shut me down if it gets too overwhelming and we've lost track of the lesson!

Within my class, I personalise each lesson to the individual student, because I know that one size does not fit all.
Whether you are a complete beginner, or brushing up on your skills, I want you to feel safe and comfortable to make mistakes, and feel completely at home.
I earned my Teaching English as a Foreign Language certificate in 2025 from The TEFL Academy, and have been itching to get started in the classroom.
