About Jasleen
I am currently a final-year Biology student at the University of Birmingham. I enjoyed both Biology and Chemistry at GCSE and chose to pursue them further at A-level, achieving an A* in Biology and an A in Chemistry. Now, I offer tailored online tutoring for GCSE Biology, GCSE Chemistry, and A-level Biology. What fascinates me about Biology is how even the simplest processes rely on incredibly complex mechanisms. At first glance, respiration seems like a simple, singular process, but it is actually made up of multiple intricate stages working together seamlessly. When you take a step back and realise that the Krebs cycle occurs in every single mitochondrion of every cell in the human body, it becomes astonishing. There are trillions of cells in the body, and this is just one process in the midst of thousands of other biochemical reactions happening simultaneously. The precision of these processes, especially in Human Biology, is what makes the subject so captivating to me. In my tutoring sessions, I help students improve by first identifying any gaps in their understanding. I focus on building a strong foundation by breaking down complex ideas into simpler ones. My aim is not just to help students memorise facts, but to ensure they truly understand the content so they can apply it with confidence.
