About Lisa
I am Lisa Lawrence. I am a full-time education student, currently in my final year of studying. In this time I have completed a total of 7 practicals at schools. I knew from the young age of 8 years that education is my passion. It is my calling. I chose teaching because I wanted to make a long-term difference teaching the children of today to be competent and knowledgeable adults of the future. I also chose teaching because I want to create a space where learners feel safe, warm, loved, but where they can also flourish educationally. I've always been great at my languages and would love to share what I know and the skills and tips I have acquired with those who are willing to learn and commit.

My lessons focus on the student and what their needs are. My lessons are there to create a safe space where the learner comes first and the learners are the centre of attention. I can do both teacher centered where I act as the knowledgeable one and share that knowledge with you or I can do learner centered where the learner tells me what they know and we build on that together and scaffold learners to new heights in their languages.
