I am currently a final year student studying marketing and communication. I am from a Afrikaans primary school where I passed the subject exceptionally and the consistency continued throughout my high school. I have tutored people in Afrikaans and the marks were impressive.

I use the oral method of teaching. The learner gets exposed to the language first by hearing it before seeing it on paper or having to write it down. I will give the learner a chance to listen to the language and also be involved by responding.
Teach them the basic words that will be very useful for forming full sentences.
