About Jack
I’m Jack, a final-year medical student with a first-class (hons) degree in biochemistry. I graduated in 2020, the year of the first “lockdown”, and I therefore know important well-delivered online lessons are to academic success. I myself never found the way science was taught in school particularly inspiring. It often lacked context, and I was unsure how or why what I was being taught could be of any use to me. Over my many years in education I have made my own associations and metaphors for explaining things, and these have helped me greatly to get to where I am today. My hope is that by sharing these with you we can work together to understand the secret science of world around us, whilst also achieving the grades you want of course!

GCSE-level, curriculum-focussed, lessons tailored to each individual. We can follow a systematic pathway (beginning to end) or consider specific challenging topics. Each lesson can range from 30-60 minutes in duration, depending on the students’ preferences and what they wish to gain from the lesson. I graduated from King’s College London with a first-class degree in biochemistry in 2020, and am now in my final year of studying graduate medicine. Therefore, I am well-equipped to tackle the toughest of GCSE science topics, and can provide students with a unique insight into how some of these might be applied usefully in the real world.
