About Phoebe
I am completing my PhD and moving into academic teaching as my next role. I have formal teaching experience from my PhD programme and from teaching in a secondary school (8 classes of 11-16 year olds). I have mentored several students of different levels, from teenagers, to first year bachelors students, to fellow PhD students. I am cheerful, kind and love to inspire students.

My lessons are fun and engaging, and tailored to your needs. I believe people learn best by doing, and that lessons should be broken up well by exercises and activities. Students engage best with the subject when it is made relevant to them, therefore I try to connect the subject with elements of my students world to help them understand and enjoy the subject further.
