About Hayley
I am a 20-year-old university student about to graduate in December. I live in Aro Valley, Wellington where I rent with 3 other flatmates. I love to collect new information! I am always trying something new and that’s why I made this leap into tutoring as a total beginner.
I can tutor subjects related to Politics (New Zealand Government), Sociology, Criminology, Public Policy, Social Policy, Social Studies, History, and English.

As a beginning tutor, I will primarily focus on weekly content such as examining and going over parts of the student’s classes they have had trouble understanding. I will also ask them questions relating to their class material, challenging them to think critically and engage properly with the material.
Tutoring students in a similar age group to me means I understand the content of high-school and early university social studies and criminology. I will engage with them by using the knowledge I have gained and my own experiences with education to build a friendly relationship where they feel challenged yet supported to do their best.
