About Jessica
I am in my final year at the University of Cambridge studying History of Art. I achieved A*AA at A-Level and mostly 9s and 8s at GCSE. I have been tutoring for several years, and take particular pride in the achievements of my students. I have taken students from failing grades to As.
I have ADHD and struggled myself at school, so my teaching methods are particularly catered towards students who have other barriers preventing them from reaching their underlying academic potential.

I tailor each of my lessons to the particular needs of each student. My first lesson will always begin with a 30-minute long discussion of a student's academic goals, current attainment levels, and identifying particular areas for development. After this, each lesson will last one hour and will focus on one particular topic/area in depth, with model answers, examples to work on together in-class, and engaging collaboration. I can look at a student's own work and provide feedback for improvement.
I have mostly tutored Years 9, 10, and 11 for GCSE aid, and Years 11 and 12 for A-Level preparation and university support and guidance. This includes personal statement help, and preparing for University interviews. I am also happy to tutor younger age groups.
