About Emily
I have always loved English and the creativity and confidence it can bring. I am passionate about helping children develop not only their skills, but also a genuine enjoyment of the subject. When children understand English more clearly, they naturally grow in confidence, both at school and in their wider academic work. Supporting that growth is what motivates me to tutor.

I provide a relaxed and nurturing approach to tutoring, aiming to help students feel more confident in their abilities by offering a tailored plan for each child.
Lessons are typically one hour, however I am open to longer or shorter sessions depending on the child’s needs.
I have experience working in a range of primary schools, helping children strengthen their literacy skills.
I offer support for primary age, Eleven Plus, and GCSE students.
