About Krishitha
Hi, I’m Krishi! I’m a final-year Biomedical Science student at UWA, majoring in Anatomy and Human Biology. I have 3 years of tutoring experience and really enjoy helping students turn difficult topics into something they can understand. I have 3 years of tutoring experience and currently tutor students from Year 7 to Year 11 in Science, ATAR Chemistry and Human Biology. One of the most rewarding parts of tutoring for me is seeing students who initially struggled with Science become more confident and achieve significant improvements in their grades.
I don’t use the same lesson plan for every student. I prepare personalised worksheets, practice questions and revision activities based on what each student is learning at school and the areas they need the most help with. Before tests and assessments, I also provide targeted revision and plenty of practice questions to help students feel prepared.
In my lessons, I break difficult concepts down into simple steps, work through examples together and then let the student have a go independently. If something doesn’t make sense the first time, I’m always happy to explain it in a different way.
Lessons are typically 1 hour and are suitable for students who need extra support, want to improve their grades, or simply want to feel more confident in Science.
