About Whitney
I am a mathematics and economics double major at BYU with a business minor, graduating in the spring of 2022.
This year, I will begin my Finance PhD at Texas A&M, where I will focus on economic, statistical, and mathematical applications in finance, especially econometrics. I aim to be a finance professor.
I know that I can teach you because I had to teach myself. :)

I tutor students of all ages and abilities, from first grade to college seniors. In my 8 years as a tennis coach, I developed an engaging and adaptable teaching style that works. We will prioritize genuine understanding of topics. A typical lesson begins by exploring your strengths and weaknesses in your understanding of the topic. Then we will strategically build a stronger foundation - What does this problem mean? How do we solve this problem? Why do we solve it like that?
Currently, I tutor introductory and advanced finance, statistics, and economics, as well as ACT and GMAT exam prep. (ACT 35 / GMAT 730). I am also a math tutor for all levels, from first grade to advanced college courses.
I have extensive experience as a tutor in these areas, as I have worked as a tutor & teacher's assistant in over twelve courses at Brigham Young University. I am also the top math tutor for student athletes at BYU.
