About Deng
I am a University of Manchester graduate holding both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Finance, with a strong academic background in Mathematics. I support students across Primary and Secondary levels, including GCSE and A-Level preparation.
Having achieved an A* in A-Level Mathematics (146/150) and completed formal teacher training, I combine academic excellence with effective teaching skills. My professional qualifications (ACCA and ICAS) further strengthen my expertise in quantitative subjects.

My lessons focus on Mathematics for GCSE and A-Level students who want to improve their grades and confidence. I begin by assessing each student’s current level and identifying gaps in understanding.
I create personalised study plans tailored to each student’s learning style, pace, and exam goals. Difficult topics are broken down into simple, logical steps to ensure strong understanding before moving on to exam-style practice.
I place strong emphasis on exam technique, common question types, and problem-solving skills. Through structured lessons and regular progress tracking, students gain confidence and achieve measurable improvement in their results.
