About Chris
Hi! I’m about to begin a Master’s in Finance and have recently been through the application process myself. That means I understand the pressures of writing a strong personal statement - and how hard it can be to know what to include (and what to leave out). I'm not here to write your statement for you, but I will help you find your voice, structure your ideas, and present your strengths clearly and authentically. I’m a careful editor, a good listener, and genuinely want to help you succeed in getting into the university that’s right for you. Whether you're unsure where to start or just need a final set of eyes before you submit, I can offer honest, thoughtful support to help your application stand out.

I’ll help you structure your statement effectively, avoid clichés, and sound authentic - without over-polishing it. I also offer light editing and advice on tone and impact. I'm beginning a Master’s in Finance this September, so I know first-hand what admissions teams look for. While I'm not a professional admissions officer, I’ve helped several peers and younger students shape successful UCAS and postgraduate applications. These sessions are ideal for A-level or college students, international applicants, or anyone applying to university in the UK who wants constructive, practical feedback on their personal statement.
