About Adam
I am a second-year Finance Student at the University of Alberta, where I achieved a 4.0 GPA in both introductory calculus and financial accounting. Along with this, I also maintained a 90%+ Honors with Distinction award for all mathematics courses taken from grades 10-12 in high school, the highest of which was a 97% in Mathematics 10 (wherein there is the highest focus on pure algebra and variable arithmetic).
I have had experience in casual private tutoring with strong positive results, oftentimes boosting students from the 70-80s range to 85-90s range based off of key insights and focused teaching sessions related to questions which the student finds difficult. Within these sessions, I maintain a light-hearted, positive attitude which students can latch onto in order to instill confidence within themselves and to have an enjoyable tutoring session for both parties!

Lessons will be specifically designed for instilling fundamental skills in arithmetic, algebra, grasping concepts such as variable manipulation and cartesian planes, and more. I will focus on a teaching method that allows the kids to answer questions both efficiently and effectively, using a process where both the long and short method of solving problems will be taught in order to ease the students learning journey to help them adapt to which methodology suits them best.
