About Raman
My name is Raman Sethi, and I grew up in Houston. In high school, I worked at my family’s online retail store, which led me to pursue a degree from UT Austin, where I’m currently a junior double majoring in Business Honors and Finance.
Freshman year, I joined Texas Stock Team, where I drafted and delivered stock pitches, which furthered my interest in finance. Last summer, I interned at George & Company, a New York-based investment bank, where I worked on a buy-side pitch and valuation for a live sell-side deal. Last fall, I interned at Fortitude Advisors, a boutique investment bank in Austin, where I had the chance to join several client calls and witness the close interactions clients have with bankers. I will be joining JP Morgan’s Energy Investment Banking Division as an intern during Summer 2023.
I am proficient in all ACT sections and scored a 36/36 on the examination during high school.
