About VIRAJ
Hello! I'm Viraj Kumar Dewangan, a Finance and Data Science professional with over 7 years of international industry experience in Investment Banking, Financial Analytics, Business Strategy, and Artificial Intelligence.
My academic journey includes a BE (Hons.) from BITS Pilani, a PGDM in Finance, a PGP in Global Financial Markets from the NSE Academy, and an MSc in Data Science from the University of Essex (UK). Professionally, I've worked with Nomura Holdings, one of the world's leading investment banks, and later served as a Data Scientist with the University of Salford & RIPE Thinking (UK), where I developed analytical models and business intelligence solutions for commercial decision-making.
What motivates me to teach is the opportunity to help students move beyond theory and develop the practical skills needed to succeed in today's finance industry. Throughout my career, I've applied finance concepts to real investment decisions, valuation models, risk analysis, business strategy, and data-driven problem-solving. I bring those real-world insights into every lesson.
My teaching style is patient, interactive, and highly personalized. Whether you're a university student, a working professional, or someone preparing for competitive exams or professional certifications such as CFA or FRM, I adapt each session to your learning goals and pace.
