About Maia
I am a musician with a teaching background of over 10 years. I grew up playing piano and studied music further at Sydney University and at Macquarie University where I studied the engineering side through a Master of Recording Arts. I have studied my own voice with renowned teacher Roxanne Kiely (Delta Goodrem, Sarah Blasko) which solidified my philosophy and technique in teaching singing.

My teaching method is based on each student's individual needs, taste and where they are on their journey. But most of all, I teach students how to physically understand their voice which creates more certainty and accuracy when singing. This way you can learn and develop your own style, including how to incorporate styles you already love. I take the same approach with teaching piano so that you can develop strong technique and learn what you genuinely love to learn. These two instruments can also be combined in your sessions :)
