About ZAHRAA
- I am currently working for a Book Publishing house in Production and Freelance Design. I have been freelancing for 2 years at the Publishing House.
- I have studied Fine Art until A levels, receiving A* in GCSE and A Level Art
- I have co-taught Art lessons at Secondary School when I was working as a teacher for 2 years.
- Currently outside of my full-time job, I create artwork which I sell as a part-time fine artist.
I have experience in using the following:
- Sketching: Mechanical Pencil/Graphite/Charcoal/Ball Point Pen
- Oil Pastels and Chalk
- Painting: Acrylic, Oil Painting
- Specialising in Portrait and Life Drawing, but can paint landscape/objects also.
- Creative Cloud: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom

Whether you want to pick up Art as a new skill for fun, or go through Art Exam/Coursework preparation for GCSE and A Level, I can assist in both!
I have been working on my skills in sketching and painting, from acrylics to oil painting, while also illustrating and designing within the digital arts for over 15 years!
My teaching method is listening to what the individual students wish to work on or learn how to paint/draw and we can expand from there.
If you haven't got an idea of where to start, no worries! We will start from the basics, looking at shapes, shading, perspective, shadow, highlights, etc.
Every week we can focus on different skills to develop, finding your individual strengths and weaknesses.
Additionally I am proficient in Creative Cloud, and can go through ways of designing/illustrating on Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Happy to teach all ages and all levels of skill!
