About Maud
With more than 6 years of experience teaching Guitar, I specialise in interactive and student-focused lessons for college students. My teaching style combines structured learning with creativity, helping students progress while enjoying every session.
I use methods like play-along tracks, recording exercises, and improvisation to make lessons engaging. Music theory is simplified so students can apply it immediately to their playing. Lessons are customised to each student’s interests, goals, and skill level, whether it’s performing, learning favourite songs, or composing music.
I aim to build confidence, skill, and passion for music. Over the years, I’ve helped students master challenging pieces, perform confidently, and develop their own musical style, making every lesson a productive and inspiring experience.

I teach guitar using a methodology centred on creativity, mentorship, critical thinking, and accountability. My lessons are tailored to each student’s goals and pace, encouraging exploration, improvisation, and original music creation. I believe learning music should be inspiring, fun, and rewarding.
Mentorship is key—I provide guidance, support, and constructive feedback to help students build confidence and overcome challenges. Critical thinking is integrated into every lesson by teaching students to analyse songs, understand theory in context, and problem-solve while playing.
Accountability ensures steady growth. Together, we set goals, monitor progress, and celebrate every success. Lessons are interactive, practical, and creatively designed to maintain interest and engagement.
Beyond guitar, I teach music theory, composition, and improvisation. My approach helps students become confident, creative, and independent musicians, fostering skills that extend beyond the instrument.
