About Jayden
I am a first-class BSc Computer Science and Maths graduate with an A* in A-Level Maths and an A in Further Maths, and I have one year of previous tutoring experience. I enjoy teaching because there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student finally understand a concept that they once found difficult, and then watching them build on that understanding with confidence, much like my lecturers experienced. My background in both Mathematics and Computer Science has given me a strong analytical approach to problem-solving, which I bring into my lessons to help students understand not just how to solve a problem, but why the solution works. I am passionate about supporting students of all abilities and backgrounds, helping them develop their confidence, strengthen their understanding, and achieve their individual goals.

Lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs and goals, with a focus on building a strong understanding of the subject, improving confidence, and developing effective exam technique. Sessions will be interactive and structured around the student’s current level, with targeted practice and exam-style questions to reinforce learning. Before starting regular lessons, I offer a free 30-minute diagnostic session to identify areas of strength and weakness, understand the student’s goals, and create a personalised plan to help them make progress towards their target grade.

I came across Jayden when my daughter was studying for her GCSEs. Due to his guidance, she was ahead of most topics by the time they were introduced to the class. Despite him attending university at the time, he still gave her much of his time to make sure she understood most of the concepts he showed her and we are very grateful for that.
