About Tom
I am a passionate Economist with excellent achievements in Econometrics (96%) and my data-led dissertation (80%).
Mathematics: grade A* at iGCSE and grade A at A-Level. Economics grade A* at A-Level.
I have a wide range of teaching experiences, having taught mathematics in several schools and mentored throughout university. My Teach First internship taught me the essentials of teaching, so I understand and work well with a broad range of students and abilities.

My teaching method is very active. I always try to gauge the progress of my students by allowing students to work actively on problems as we learn, from here I can gain a strong understanding of how the student works and the areas for improvement that we need to focus on. Further, mini-tests at the end of each session allow us to gauge the progress made with each session.
