About Edwyn
I am an experienced and passionate tutor. I have taught in-person for the last 5 years, both 1 to 1 GCSE tutoring and group sessions through the last year of my university course with first year maths students. I recently graduated from Lancaster University with a first-class degree in Mathematics with Statistics and am eager to demystify maths for others.

Lessons are usually around an hour, but I'm happy to adjust the length to suit you. We'll use an online whiteboard where we can work through problems together, you can write on it, or simply dictate to me and I'll write on the board for you.
Every lesson will be built around what you actually want to achieve. Whether you're preparing for an exam, trying to understand a topic that's been giving you trouble, or want to develop practical skills with statistics and data analysis software, we'll focus our time on what will help you most.
I want lessons to feel like a conversation rather than a lecture. We'll work through problems together, ask questions, and make sure you understand the reasoning behind what you're doing rather than just memorising a procedure.
