About Matthew
Associate Lecturer at Goldsmiths University, tutoring 2nd year classes of 30+ on research design, statistics and basic psychological principles. Supervising group projects and assisting with analysis for those that find stats a challenge, to make them more confident with their own ability. Also facilitated peer-assisted-learning while an undergraduate and won awards for student achievement.

Lessons will be based around what you want to learn. We'll make a plan together of where you'd like to be after a set amount of time, and we'll work towards that goal. You'll be the focus of each lesson, based off your work you're struggling with or want further expansion on.
From there we'll build you up with confidence to make you able to tackle your problem area, with examples and theory (whatever works best for you) so you feel confident going into a situation where you need to apply them, be it coursework or exams.

Matthew helped me with the statistics for my dissertation and exam preparation. I found lecturers are often super busy so having Matt to help was really useful. As someone who found statistics not only difficult but also quite dull, Matt helped make it interesting by offering real world examples of how this could be useful! It was great to go to the lecture and jot down some questions to ask. Responses were always quick where possible. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for someone reliable, trustworthy, friendly and fun!
Matt has been really helpful in tutoring me with my Psychology Master's, mainy with my stats which I was really struggling with. He is super friendly, easy going and very patient, and of course very knowledgeable with the subject matter. Details
I'm offering a first hours lesson for free to get to know you, and you me, to make sure we're a fit for each other. From that lesson we'll establish what areas you're struggling with, how you learn best, and what we can do to tackle the difficulty you're having. We'll also start on some tutoring so you can have some work to be looking over for our second session. From there lessons will be £25/hour, or 5 hours for the price of 4, or 10 for the price of 8.
Most importantly we'll go at your pace, and we'll make sure you're understanding what you've come to me to learn. There's no point rushing through things if you're not accomplishing what your goal is!
