About Zoë
I recently graduated with a First-Class degree in Marine Biology and offer tutoring in biology, chemistry, maths and French. As a native French speaker with a strong academic background in science, I bring both subject knowledge and genuine enthusiasm to my lessons.
Having recently completed my own education, I understand how frustrating it can be to feel lost in a lesson or lack confidence in a subject. I provide a patient, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I adapt my approach to each student, breaking difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps and explaining them in different ways until they make sense.
My goal is not simply to help students find the correct answers, but to strengthen their understanding and confidence so that they can approach future work more independently.

With Biology, the main focus should be on understanding and memorising the content, and then actively recalling it through practice questions. However, everyone learns differently - some people are more visual, auditory or kinaesthetic learners - I can structure my lessons around your preferred way to learn in order to maximise the benefits you’d obtain from tutoring.

Zoë is one of the most hard working and reliable people that I know ! Her brightness is absolutely off the charts, which is easily portrayed and transferred within her teaching.
